Our Story

Me and Trent met in Jr. High. We were friends, well not really. We were acquaintances. The only reason we really knew of each other was because our seating chart was alphabetical by our last names. Im not gonna lie, I thought he was pretty cute in his skater boy ways, but we never hung out. After Jr. High he went to Cottonwood HIgh School, and I went to Taylorsville HIgh School. We didn’t talk at all through high school until, Tabi had a cheer competition at Cottonwood and of course, as her best friend and cousin, I went and supported her. There he was all suited up in his football gear waiting for his ride home. He had cleaned up quite a bit. He no longer had long hair, he had grown to be 6’5, and had matured. We exchanged numbers and began to talk. We went on our first date to one of Tabis hockey games. He met my family, my large family, may I add. We kept dating and hanging out. We became official the night of my Jr. Homecoming, October 8. We went to a haunted house and out to dinner. From that date on going to the haunted house is now our favorite date activity. We have been dating for 3 years since! We became engaged on December 17, 2011 at Wheeler Farm.
He is my best friend and im so glad we are growing up and making all these big steps together!

Home Sweet Home

We are finally moved in!!! Never thought this was going to happen because of all the odd and ends that halted Trent and I from moving in to our home. But, it finally has happened and we are loving every second of it! I think my favorite part is cooking. Anyone who knows me, knows that I hated cooking. I think with planning our meals and grocery shopping has completely changed my mind about the whole “cooking” idea. With us moving into together has really made our relationship grow. We have found out more about each other in the past week then we have learned about one another in the past year.
A little about our home, it is in a cute little community in West Jordan, Utah. It has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a loft. The sweet lady that we bought the house from must have been some kind of interior decorator because the house was set up sooo cute every time we took a tour of the house. Diesel is sure loving the house to. There is sort of small backyard for him to run. He is a whole whopping 7.8 pounds so the backyard seems huge to him.  He has recently discovered the doggy door that was left at the house, which has been awesome. He still isnt quite strong enough to man the door by himself. But he sure is trying.
So the pictures that I am posting are of the home before we moved in! I totally snagged these from the website that we found the house from (shout out to our awesome sellers agent, Lisa Radke) So the house doesnt look as cute as did now. But only because Trent and I have nothing to put in the house. Oh well, we are almost done!
